Its just happened last two weeks before that I having a very serious nausea. I wake up as usual and about prepare to work, when bend down during brushing my teeth, I feel nausea and head spinning. My experience of having motion sickness is I was a pilot in the army and I flew helicopters. On my very first flight I almost threw up. Nearly all of the other students in my flight said they felt the same way and some even threw up. In short order I and all of us got used to the movement of the helicopter and it didn’t bother us any more. Until we got to the simulators. In the simulators we practiced instrument flight and it was different so we were miserable again. Then we got better. Until we put a hood on. Again different…sick again.

I use a cycling program called Holofit that uses Oculus Quest goggles. I use it for rowing and riding and it’s fantastic…and never gives me grief. Except for one ride and one place in that ride. It’s in Paris and the is a place where you turn right and at the same time go up a short hill. The whole event only lasts maybe 3 seconds but it makes me queasy every time. I’ve taken to closing my eyes. The problem is that my body is sitting still but my brain thinks I am turning right and pitching upward and that change is annoying to my stomach. I certainly did when I was flying. Not every one can or does, but it is certainly possible.
